Fiona’s Birthday Celebration Part I

Arrrr Matey! There were a ship full of pirates ready for a treasure hunt & some cake to help Fiona celebrate her 3rd birthday while we were in Maine…

Not only were Fiona’s cousins available to join the fun but Mom’s longtime friend Sue & her daughter Molly were around for the day to share the celebration….also Margeaux & Marie from Paris (exchange au pairs for the St. Pierre’s & Peterson’s) were able to witness birthday party Maine style.
Once the pirates were decked out they had to check their treasure map for the best route to their booty….


And they were off….everyone needed to come back to the beach with one treasure coin. They all worked very well helping each other on their hunt….
 
 
Then back to the beach where the “x” marked the spot for each pirate to dig for their own bag of treasure…..in theory a great idea until the pirates all moved their “x”’s and we had some official hidden treasures to dig around for. But a successful hunt all around and on to cake & presents!
