We recently had a great visit when Nick, Tiim & Aunt Amy S trekked down to MA to visit us for a few days. What a thrill for Mason & Fiona to be able to show off their toys & “turf” to their cousins!
Though the weather started off very rainy we made the most of it with a fun trip to Monkey Joe’s to burn some energy, then back home for a quiet (kinda;) afternoon of playing…
When the rain cleared we were able to get a trip into the Capron Park Zoo….always a good time…
Though no pics on my end, the kids were generous enough to allow Aunt Amy a trip to IKEA….similar to my draw to a Marden’s trip every time I go to Maine;)…though my prices beat every time…..The boys were old enough & excited to stay in the play area where they will watch them for 45 minutes while we shopped!….for free too! They loved the independence & play time while Amy & I were able to cruise through over half of the store before our buzzer went off to pick them up. Perfect shopping idea, now if Target could do the same:)
The rain finally cleared for a beautiful day on Wednesday so we packed up and headed to Southwick Zoo for a full day of fun…though the day started off with a camera crisis (mine fell into the dog’s water dish & didn’t live on after it’s swim…I was able to pull myself together and got a few pictures with a far inferior camera…phew!)
The kids played so well together & we had such a nice time. Look forward to another visit. Thanks guys!!
