Whenever Auntie Beth comes to visit she always spoils the kids with as many books as they want….lucky kiddos!

Mission Accomplished

After years of pricing them out & dreams of actually leaving this house are not really a reality, we bit the bullet and got the kids a swingset. These aren’t like the metal ones that I remember growing up for sure….needless to say the kids are beyond thrilled with their own personal playground!

Since these sets are sold at many retail stores to the general population….with assembly required, John being pretty handy was fairly optimistic about the assembly process….Mason got his tools out and helped & waited, and waited….ready to swing. Unfortunately, 8 hours later there was no swing to swing on as Mason hoped…..it just wasn’t making sense to a 4 year old, for that, a 35 year old man…why these darn things are so ridiculously engineered!

With help from Nana, myself, Mason & Fiona….and 2 days & 15+ hours of labor from John the set was completed & the kiddos were ready to play! Should be a fun summer in the yard!

10 Years and Counting

Hard to believe that John and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary….5 years of dating, 10 years of marriage, 3 states, many moves, several jobs, heartbreaks, loss & joy and miracles….2 dogs, 2.5 kids, wonderful family & friends, ups & downs but ALWAYS love & respect for each other…..looking forward to many more blessings & memories together. Happy Anniversary, John!
