Mystic Aquarium
For Father’s Day we wanted to do something special as a family. My only request was for it to be for all of us and out of the house. After a family vote we decided to take a road trip to the Mystic Aquarium. What a fun adventure for the kids & certainly I found more entertaining than the Boston one so a success all around.
Great time!

Very Berry
We recently went to Ward’s Berry Farm for some strawberry picking…YUM!
The kids were happy to hold the container & eat the berries while mom got to pick….hmmm, good thing we aren’t counting on them as farm hands;)

When Given Lemons…
Make some lemonade….recently we had a great visit with the Carpenters & Gallaghers in NH. We always have to plan months in advance & hope for ideal weather for the weekend of activities. Of course, June in vacationland NH would be a perfect combo for a great summer weekend…..
Friday prior to the gang’s arrival we had a picture perfect BEACH day at the town beach. Mason, Fiona & I had the place to ourselves…
Friday night the Gallagher’s arrived so we had a nice evening outside….then when we woke up Saturday things had turned;( Rain swooped in and the temps dropped considerably. We headed out to Mason’s favorite local attraction, The FunSpot.
Then headed to lunch to meet up with the Carpenters. I didn’t get pictures but it was certainly a photo op to get all 6 kids under the age of 6 to sit & behave out at a restaurant. Great bunch!
The rain cleared a little in the afternoon enough to get out and play in the yard for a little while & work on some arts & crafts together.
Then, off to bed…
Sunday’s weather was cold & windy…so much for the beach! So we spent some time brainstorming & figured we’d give the kids a look at the start of bike week at Weir’s Beach….So we took the train ride from Meredith & hit the boardwalk. Not so much on a cold windy day to do but the kids all enjoyed the train & all of the motorcycles & of course a run on the beach.
Decked out in their cool matching shirts from Stacy….to bad all needed to be covered up with jackets & sweatshirts after our photo op. So cute.
The second generation of these boys could be trouble;)
Lots of fun, though the weather could have been much better….we made the best of it & had a great visit with everyone!
