Mason's Birthday Celebration Part 2 of 4

Another party for Mason was with Nana and Auntie Amy K. Mason certainly loved the more low-key atmosphere so he could spend time looking at all of his new birthday treats....including a firehouse and remote control monster truck....a little boy's dream!

Mason's Birthday Celebration Part 1 of 4

We don't mess around with birthdays here...with plenty of friends and family all over to celebrate with us Mason had a birthday party for each of his years. 

We started off the week long celebration with a jungle themed party with a few of Mason's friends. 

Thanks to dad's craftiness and cooking skills my simple pizza party idea went gourmet with a lion pizza for the kiddos and custom gourmet pizzas on the grill for the adults...yum! 

Before dinner there was time for setting the 10 kids free to the yard for running and of course driving the Gator! Then on to the snake cake!

 Of course a jungle isn't complete with out some "wild" animals and after cake they really got going....lots of fun for everyone

Apple Picking

We have been trying to take advantage of our surroundings in NH and recently went apple picking at an orchard just a few miles away. Plenty of apples to pick and even a tractor ride to the picking spot (the highlight of Mason's trip). Everyone enjoyed trying out the fresh apples and we left with full bellies and 32 pounds (!!) of our picks....now just need to come up with some quick apple recipes!

Bikes

The kids were ready to hit the open road with their bikes recently. Mason took off like a pro. He had the hang of steering and pedaling no problem. Fiona did pretty well also for a newbie to the sport. Watch out for the newest wheels in town!

 How the years have flown and our tiny little "pumpkin" has grown....and grown! Happy 4th Birthday to our sweet boy!!
