Our Thanksgiving turned white this year….we headed to Maine a day early due to the weather forecast and for good reason, a foot of snow fell on Wednesday to make for a very white Thanksgiving!
As we prepared for our first road trip as a family of 5 John and I prayed to the baby gods that our little sweet pea keep the screaming to a minimum as we endured 5 hours in the car….we were pleasantly surprised that Mallory was a rockstar (as were Mason & Fiona who are well versed on this trip). First of giving thanks at this holiday for sure!
And we woke up Wednesday to a winter wonderland…..John lead the pack of kiddos (Mason, Fiona, Soren & Bodie) through the snow storm….what a difference a day makes!
Soren with a face first snow angel
First sledding of the season!
Then everyone came inside to warm up and hang out….
Couldn’t imagine what Bodie & Fiona are in deep discussion about;)
Uncle Kevin should know better than to take over the whole couch!
Mallory’s first introduction to the whole Sidell-Peterson clan….and the fun continued as we headed to the St Pierre’s house for the Thanksgiving feast….watch for the next post, Thanksgiving Part 2 (got you on the edge of your seats I’m sure;)
