Santa In July

Since our time at the “vacation” home in NH is winding down we thought we would try to take advantage of the proximity to some kids activities & planned a fun trip to visit Santa’s Village. It was a hot day in July, but the kids were so well behaved, plenty of shade & perfect sized park, it turned into a great day out with the family…

IMG_6406 Mason & Fiona LOVED the Elfabet…trying to find all    26 of the elves around the park was one of their favorite parts of the day…

While Mason enjoyed the bumper cars & some of the more mellow rides, Dad got Fiona to join him on some of the “wilder” rides….she was a great sport even though she did say that the roller coaster was a bit scary….

The kids even got to pet Santa’s reindeer & visit Santa himself (though Fiona didn’t say a word & Mason hid in the corner with his hat over his face when it was their turn)….guess we’ll have to work on communication with Santa as winter approaches;)

What a fun day….dad even proved himself by beating out a few toddlers in a fair game to win a stuffed puppy dog for his little girl….what a guy;)
