Memorial Day Weekend

What a beautiful long weekend we had celebrating Memorial Day! John was home to do his much anticipated yard work, the kids both got to take turns riding to the dump with him too….dad has it made, his chores are fun for the kids…mine are not so appealing for the entertainment factor. But we all had a chance to enjoy the weather regardless;)

After the yard work & chores we took an afternoon off to head to the lake. Picture perfect day for the kids to swim & splash around.

After a long fun day we headed home for some rest for the big Memorial Day Parade on Monday….

Although Mason is always thrilled by the fire trucks & the flyover by the jets, this year he was particularly taken by the Attleboro HS cheerleaders……quite comical his level of excitement when he thought another group of cheerleaders were passing by. With his size we hope that he is smitten with the girls rather than thinking he’d ever be able to participate in a basket toss….he probably hits same weight category that the tossed girls do! Funny kiddo…..

On the way back to the car the kids found a cool tree to climb inside of…always something entertaining.

Look forward to more summer weather since right now it is cloudy & in the 50s….booo…summer come back!
