Mallory turns 1!

It is hard to imagine that our baby turned 1….been a chaotic and crazy year but we have enjoyed our bustling family life. Mallory is a unique little girl, smaller in stature, weight & size from her siblings (gulp, 50th percentile in weight!!) but she makes up for it in gumption & personality. Funny, independent, smart, resourceful, friendly & silly. Think we have the entertainer of the group. She LOVES attention from her siblings & doesn’t miss a beat with all of their doings….good & the bad. She is into everything & will help herself to what she wants instead of waiting to have someone do it for her (like some of the other children of the household;). She is a daddy’s girl…certainly melts his heart with the excitement she shows when he arrives….Love is an understatement to her presence and contribution to make our family whole.

Piñata!

The kids were invited to share celebrating their friend Meghan’s 4th birthday in September. Always a spread with the Silva’s party including a fun chance at breaking the birthday piñata! Last year the pressure was too much for our boy and he backed out of participating in the swinging of the bat…. but this year, his confidence shown and he was actually the one to break the piñata this year…..we have said before this has been a breakthrough year on many fronts with Mason, and we couldn’t  be more thrilled. Yes, seems insignificant but huge step in our world. Go Mason!
